As always we look forward to the coming golfing season!! We have many new and loyal members this year and I'm expecting very competative rounds this coming year. Jimbo , oh yea I guess thats me had 284 wins this year , next in line was Derrick at 164. Derrick say its because I'm there all the time and " He would have done better if I hadn't taken a pipe cutter to his favorite pitching wedge." 2011 Here We Come!!

2010 was another great year for everyone at The Blackberry Country Club. Nick Meyers won the Homeboy Classic, with Derrick and Shay tying for second. Jimbo had most stars for the year at 236 (just might be because he is there all the time). Punching and sanding the greens increased their overall quality significantly. The addition of an RV for a clubhouse was a stroke of luck, nice to have a place to hide out! Hope to see everyone in the coming year, we golf for fun!! Looking Forward to 2010

2009 has been a great Summer, more golfers than ever, great matches every day of the week. Graham won the 2009 Homeboy Classic, Congratulations GRAHAM!! All of the regular Homeboys' golf games just keep getting better. MOCHA at 9.5 years still has enough energy to get in the way for several rounds, her ability to line up backwards to the hole( right on everyones line) is absoultely uncanny. But like I tell the boys "if you can see the dog you are not looking at the ball". Our motto is still "ALL THE FUN YOU CAN HAVE FOR FREE!!" Some come on down and golf!!! Mocha loves to play GOLF She lives for her trips to the PROPERTY. There are two new fences this year, new fire pit, BBQ and PICNIC SHELTER. We are finally done with our chores for the King County Land use office. Many thanks to the people who helped take the second story off the storage shed , this brings us completely into compliance and we can PLAY GLOF FOREVER IN PARADISE. A special thanks to Mike Bradley for helping me navigate the many hoops that exist within the King County Land Use laws, couldn't have done it without you RED!!!!! Also a special thanks to my family ands friends who had to listen to me go through this whole process, my MOM, Isabel and SON Jasper for Creating the DEFENSE FUND. ANYWAY, IT IS OVER!!!! Just got my compliance letter in the mail and we can all move on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Let's make 2008 a Great Year of GOLF. We're going to move the HOME BOY CLASSIC closer to the middle of Summer and add a BACHI tournament on a different weekend. Hope to see everyone out golfing this year. The strange guy with the beard is Mister Jimmy (A.K.A. JIMBO),head greenskeeper and the CHEF at MISTER JIMMY'S INVISIBLE TRAVELING RESTAURANT, (GOOD FOOD IF YOU CAN FIND IT)

The Blackberry course has evolved over the years. It started out as a one hole 25 yard course and has grown into the present 70 yard 2 hole course. We have very few rules, except HAVE FUN (and don't tee off on the greens), several people have even been spotted playing one handed with a variety of excellent beers in the other hand. Once a year we have a tournament called THE HOMEBOY CLASSIC, last year we had eight contestants over two days with our good friend Jeremy winning the overall score. This year should be even bigger!! What could be more fun than playing GOLF in the middle of a giant Blackberry patch, we don't have a rough we have a tough, (if you hit the ball into the Blackberries it's just TOUGH).
